RESEARCH & PRIVACY
Clear boundaries.
Visible limitations.
HyLab is currently a public research prototype. This page explains what the website is—and what it is not.
01
Research purpose
Content on this website is provided for general scientific and educational purposes. Research notes may describe exploratory analyses, hypotheses or prototype methods. They should not be treated as validated clinical evidence unless explicitly stated and supported.
02
No medical or diagnostic use
HyLab does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations or patient-specific interpretation. The prototype is not a medical device and is not intended for clinical decision-making.
03
Data scope
The initial project scope is public or appropriately de-identified research data. This website does not provide a data-upload function and must not be used to submit identifiable patient, genetic or other sensitive personal data.
04
Methods and limitations
Where research outputs are published, HyLab aims to document data provenance, software versions, parameters, quality checks and material limitations. Reproducibility reduces avoidable ambiguity but does not by itself prove that a biological interpretation is correct.
05
Privacy
This prototype does not use analytics, advertising, user accounts, contact forms or non-essential cookies. Standard infrastructure logs may be processed by the hosting provider for security, reliability and abuse prevention.
06
External resources
Future research notes may link to third-party datasets, repositories, publications or tools. Their content, availability, licensing and privacy practices remain the responsibility of their respective providers.
07
Prototype status
Website content and project scope may change as HyLab develops. Material scientific claims should be assessed using the cited primary sources and the accompanying methods rather than this website alone.
